The Britannia Association is delighted to offer members and their guests the opportunity to enjoy the Association’s Annual Dinner on board HQS Wellington, moored on the River Thames, close to Waterloo Bridge, on Saturday 23rd November 2019.

The HQS Wellington was built in 1934 and is the last surviving member of the Grimsby Class of sloops, which served the nation with much distinction in World War II.  She has been moored on the Thames since 1948 and is the home of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners, a City of London Livery Company.

In 1991 HQS Wellington underwent an extensive restoration, modernisation and refurbishment, which has helped make the ship a Livery Hall much admired throughout the City of London.  She is now run by The Wellington Trust, a charitable body established to ensure the preservation of the historic ship.

Highlights of the planned event are:

    • Evening commencing at 1900
    • Drinks Reception on arrival
    • Four course Dinner with accompanying wines and port
    • Dress code – Mess Dress/ Black Tie
    • Tickets priced at £105.00 per head

To secure your tickets a non-refundable deposit of £35.00 is required.

Balance payment will be required by Thursday 14th November.
