MEMBERS EVENT - Annual Dinner - The Royal Yacht Britannia, Leith

The Britannia Association is delighted to offer members and a guest the opportunity to enjoy the Association’s Annual Dinner on board the Royal Yacht Britannia, Leith, Edinburgh.

Step aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia, Her Majesty the Queen’s former Floating Palace for over 40 years.  Follow in the footsteps of Royalty to discover the heart and soul of this most special of Royal Residences.

Highlights of the planned event are:
• Evening commencing at 1900
• Arrival at the Royal Brow where the Pipe Major will welcome you aboard
• Drinks & Canape Reception in the State Drawing Room with piano accompaniment
• Guided tour including the Royal Apartments
• Four course, butler-served Dinner with accompanying wines and port in the State Dining Room
• After dinner tipple
• Dress code – Mess Dress / Black Tie / Highland Dress
• Tickets priced at £175.00 per ticket

We are certain that members will find this opportunity to dine in this ‘Floating Palace’ extremely attractive, which will result in the event being over-subscribed.  In fairness to our growing membership, the allocation of tickets will be made by ballot.

Fingal, a floating hotel by the Royal Yacht Britannia, Scotland’s first floating hotel, is a former Northern Lighthouse Board ship, launched in 1963, she is permanently berthed in Edinburgh’s historic Port of Leith, providing the ultimate in luxury.

Members are required to make their request to be included in the ballot direct to the Britannia Association office:

• All ballot requests received will be acknowledged by email.
• The ballot will close at noon on Monday 14th October 2019. No requests will be accepted after the closing deadline.
• Tickets are available for a BA member plus 1 guest.
• Successful bidders will be advised by email and will be required to make a deposit payment of £75.00 per ticket by 1600 on Thursday 17th October 2019.
• Ticket balances must be cleared by Thursday 30th January 2020 and any tickets not paid for will be released for onward allocation.
