Britannia Royal Naval College marked the WRNS100 celebrations inviting former members of the Womens Royal Naval Service to afternoon tea on the Quarterdeck.

The present Officer Cadets under training manned a number of displays to demonstrate the Initial Officer Training undertaken at BRNC today and answered many questions from the former WRNS who were fascinated to learn how training has changed.

Also on display were a number of photograph albums and 'line-books' from the days of the Talbot Division and many happy memories were stirred in the minds of people there.

Captain Jol Woodard, Captain BRNC gave a welcome address admitting to slight nerves on meeting his former Hawke Senior Divisional Officer, Lt Cdr Alison Brown. Commandant Anthea Larken was guest of honour and during the afternoon guests were given a guided tour of the College by trustees of the Britannia Museum.
