BRNC welcomed a small delegation from the Peruvian Navy at the end of October as part of their fact finding tour to look at initial training in the Royal Navy.

During their time in the college the team were able to gain a clear understanding of the approaches taken to initial officer training from both the academic and command and leadership perspectives as well as an insight to the Initial Warfare Officer's Foundation Course and the bridge simulator.

The new entry divisions were undertaking their assessed leadership exercise on Dartmoor during this time and so Rear Admiral Hasembank and Captain Camoliano were accompanied up to the moor to witness some of the leadership tasks as well as getting the chance to speak to some of the cadets.

Commodore Jake Moores, Commodore BRNC said "We were delighted to welcome the Peruvian delegation who have been one of a number of international visitors this term. With over 25% of our student population coming from an avwerage of 23 countries the cultural diversity and links to many nations is immense and reflects the contribution BRNC makes to our nations diplomacy."

After returning from Dartmoor the delegation moved on to HMS Raleigh where they were learned about the range of training undertaken at the establishment
